Reuben’s Retreat is a charity which was set up in order to help honor the memory of Reuben Michael Graham, who tragically passed away in August 2012 at the age of just 23 months due to a rare and aggressive form of Cancerous tumor.
To help provide a safe haven to children experiencing life limiting conditions and support the parents and siblings of those affected, the charity Reuben’s Retreat was set up by Reuben’s mum, Nicola Graham, just a few days later in 2012, with the charity continuing to develop and evolve it’s premises into a safe haven for those who need it most.
Staples UK will be helping to support the charity through fundraising efforts by taking part in events and sponsored activities, along with the donation of office supplies to help Reuben’s Retreat with its day-to-day running operations.
With the team at Staples UK committed to helping raise awareness of the vital support that Reuben’s Retreat provides to children and families across the UK, Phillippa Bourne, Online Campaigns Manager at the EVO Group of Companies, expressed:
“Reuben’s Retreat is a charity that is close to our hearts.
We are privileged and honored to be able to support them and excited to be taking part in some of the fundraising activities they have planned for this year.
Look out for further news about how we will be getting involved over the next weeks.”
Speaking on the new charity partnership with Staples UK, Nicola Graham, Reuben’s mum and founder of Reuben’s Retreat commented:
“So proud to be supported by Staples and their teams, especially at such a monumental time in their history.
We are so grateful for their support and are excited to have them be a part of #reubensjourney as we move forward to build a strong recovery after much uncertainty.
Thank you Staples, we look forward to sharing our special journey with you.”
